3-DAY SCOPED CARBINE COURSE
AT RED RIVER RANCH (TEASDALE, UT)
*Course fees are for instruction only. Students are responsible for arrranging their own food/lodging in the Teasdale/Torrey, UT area.
Leupold Optics with Tremor 3 and TMR reticles available on loan to students during this course.
The Scoped Carbine Course is an all-inclusive 3-day training focused on the fundamentals of marksmanship, gathering/reading environmental information, applying ballistic data, and performance-engagement courses of fire.
Course Requirements:
All Shooter’s MUST possess a mastery in safe weapons manipulation and the clearing of malfunctions with the AR platform. (This is not a “beginner course”).
All shooters must possess an AR platform chambered in .223, .308, .264, or .243
Shooters must be in good health and physically able to adjust to and train at 6500+ ft. elevation and move across uneven, natural terrain in the outdoor elements.

Ballistic Computer employment and considerations
Applying aiming schemes and shooting solutions
Tri-Pod employment
Fire & maneuver techniques
Identifying Shooting Positions & Points of Domination
Establishing a hasty firing position
Target discrimination
Reading Target Feedback
Methods of target engagement (100 to 1000 + meters)
NRL Hunter-style competition prep and stage execution
Rifle setup requirements:
Optics/sites:
Shooters must possess a variable powered optic with an MRAD-type reticle (recommend Tremor3 ). Leupold Scopes with Tremor3 & TMR reticles are available to loan for students on site if needed. Please let us know in advance if you will need a loaner scope.
Shooter’s rifle will need to have an red dot “off-set” site at the 12” o’clock position recommended.
Ammo Requirements:
700 rounds (minimum) of quality ammo are required.
Additional Rifle requirements:
Bi-pod (I.e. MDT Triple Pull)
Shooting Tri-pod (i.e. https://twovetssportinggoods.com/tripods/new-category/ or https://rrssoar.com/tfct/ )
Two-point sling (i.e. T1C sling)
(3) 10 round magazines (at a minimum)
Competition muzzle brake or suppressor.
