‘Bolt guns only’ 4-day course at defender ranch**
IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ:
**4 Days (5 nights), All Inclusive: Total Cost of this course is $3,275. $1,275 tuition (paid upon registration) + $2,000 for 5 nights private cabin lodging, meals, Wifi access, and range fees (paid to Defender Ranch prior to the start of the course). Upon registration, students will receive an email with link to complete payment for Defender Ranch lodging package. Lodging package is required.
The “Bolt-Guns Only” Course is an all-inclusive four-day training hosted at Tier1 Concealment’s majestic Defender Ranch in Gooding, Idaho
and will be focused on the fundamentals of marksmanship, the practical application of the Tremor3 reticle, and performance-engagement courses of fire.
Course Requirements:
All Shooter’s MUST possess a mastery in safe weapons manipulation and the clearing of malfunctions with the bolt-gun. (This is not a “beginner course”).
All shooter’s must possess an Bolt-gun chambered in .308, .264, .243
Shooters must be in good health and physically able to adjust to and train at 3500+ ft. elevation and move across uneven, natural terrain in the outdoor elements.

Gun fighting tenets
Practical application of the Tremor3 reticle
12” Rapid Range Estimation Drill (Developed by Todd Hodnett of Accuracy 1st)
Truing (introduction to the Applied Ballistic Kestrel)
Tri-Pod employment
Fire & maneuver techniques
Identifying Shooting Positions & Points of Domination
Establishing a hasty firing position
Target discrimination
Reading Target Feedback
Methods of target engagement (100 to 1000 + meters)
Rifle setup requirements:
Optics/sites:
Shooters must possess a variable powered optic with the Tremor3 reticle.. Leupold Scopes with Tremor3 reticle are available to loan for students on site if needed. Please let us know in advance if you will need a loaner scope.
Shooter’s Bolt-gun will need to have an red dot “off-set” site at the 12” o’clock position.
Ammo Requirements:
800 rounds (minimum) of quality ammo are required.
Additional Rifle requirements:
Bi-pod
Shooting Tri-pod (i.e. https://twovetssportinggoods.com/tripods/new-category/ or https://rrssoar.com/tfct/ )
Two-point sling (i.e. T1C sling)
(3) 10 round magazines (at a minimum)
Muzzle Comp or suppressor.
